Introducing Dr Evan Vlassopoulos
I am a very passionate individual who finds inspiration in the most unlikely places. My wife often comments that I can discover something and become obsessed by it for weeks. It could be a talented writer, musician, a time in history or a philosophy podcast. I enjoy pursuing these interests in depth.
When it comes to dentistry, my biggest inspirations are my patients, who have shared countless stories and life events with me.
Since I graduated from the University of Melbourne in 2011 I have worked hard to develop my dental toolkit, obtaining experience across Melbourne and helping many patients get out of pain, overcome anxiety and reclaim their oral health.
My greatest joy in the profession comes from the long-term relationships I form with my patients. They have become old friends, and some even feel like family. I treat everyone with the respect and to the level I treat my own family.
You will find me genuine, caring and you will always be my priority when you sit in the dental chair.
Outside of dentistry I enjoy nothing more than spending time with my wife and daughter. I also enjoy playing piano and guitar, and look forward to travelling more freely in future as there is so much I want to see.

Dr Matthew C Speed BDS (Hons)
I have always been fascinated with pulling things apart and rebuilding them. Ever since I was a small child I have enjoyed fixing toys and machines and putting them back together, so it is not surprising that my chosen profession is one in which I can continue that same passion.
I studied at Sydney University, graduating in 1991 with first-class honours. In the 20 years since then I have continued to study, reading and learning practical craft from some of the masters of the profession, as well as regularly attending seminars and workshops.
With the most up to date knowledge and research as a foundation, I use cutting edge technology, coupled with a high level of manual dexterity, care and time to give my patients beautiful, world-class dentistry.
I have a special interest in smile and bite remodeling. Using a wide range of restorative procedures, including crowns and veneers, I create natural, alluring smiles.
I obtain great satisfaction and pleasure in creating beautiful, artistic restorations of teeth, thus enabling you to confidently eat, smile and laugh again.
You will find me to be honest and straightforward. I care about my patients general and dental health and treat them as I would a friend, which is perhaps why the majority of my clientele come from direct referrals.
Outside of work I am a happily married father of three, avid cyclist and keen photographer.
Our Staff
We have two staff members. Samantha is my front office coordinator and Tanya is our clinical assistant. Our staff are highly qualified, caring and constantly aiming to provide five-star service and dental care. Our dental practice is like a small family working together to provide the best service and care to our patients.
