Farewell Tooronga, Hello Noosa

It is with great sadness that I will be closing my Tooronga Village dental practice, Glen Iris on the 18th of December 2025.

This is one of the most difficult and heartbreaking decisions of my life. I opened the practice in 1999, and over the past 26 years I have had the privilege of caring for so many wonderful patients. Some even from 1996! We have shared plenty of laughs, tears, a challenges, lots of flossing, some bitten nails and built relationships that I will always treasure.

For the past two and a half years I have done everything I can to sell the practice and pass the baton of care to a new owner. My hope was that a sale would provide certainty for the future: for the practice, for my many loyal patients and for the exceptional staff who have stood by me. Despite my every effort, a buyer has not eventuated. After long and difficult discussions with family, accountant and friends, I have made the painful choice to close in December 2025.

I know this news may cause some inconvenience or concern, and I am truly sorry. Continuing is no longer possible for me, either financially or emotionally.

It is now time for me to focus my energy and skills on caring for patients here in Noosa, where my family and I have found a warm and supportive community.

To the wonderful staff I have worked with over the years Megan, Karen, Natalie, Nicole, Lucy, Tanya, Sam, Evan, Holly and Leanne – thank you. Your dedication, loyalty and friendship have meant more than I can express. To the friends I’ve made along the way, thank you for enriching my life.

And to my wife Bec, my children Tom, George, Lachlan and Alizée and my parents Rob and Susan thank you for your unwavering love and support.
